This is a deck built around gaining value from playing cards from exile. I really do like this deck, but I don't think there is currently enough support to get it to the level I want it at. Cards like Gonti, Lord of Luxury and Etali, Primal Storm are fun yes, but they are inconsistent. This deck also relies HEAVILY on Prosper, Tome-bound staying on the board turn after turn to allow you to keep up with ramp at the table. I would have to say my biggest issue with this deck is just how hard it is to close out games with it. I can spin my wheels till the cows come home, but without a Rakdos equivalent to Thassa's Oracle or Laboratory Maniac this deck just doesn't have the ability to properly end a game. Might be a fun option to play in a power level 5-6 pod, not the 8+ I usually play in. Having said that, this deck CAN punch up, and plays well on the defensive. I just dislike playing from that position.
Edit 1: And the support I wanted for this deck has been printed! On to the changes. Took out Gonti, Lord of Luxury and Robber of the Rich, for the above mentioned reasons. Instead I put in the phenomenal (and highly abusable) cards Atsushi, the Blazing Sky and Hidetsugu, Devouring Chaos. Both have superb utility to add to this deck, with the former being a (potentially infinite) source of treasure OR additional card draw; and the latter offering a solid one cost sac outlet, and even more impulsive card draw and damage, although it does come at a rather steep cost. Still, it's useful in a pinch; and I have used it to eek out the last few points of life on a player. Also, I don't know what I was thinking when I said this deck didn't have the ability to end the game. This deck is an arti-stocrats deck, where cards like Marionette Master and Nadier's Nightblade are your endgame.
