To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
So, my girlfriend's nephew, who I taught Magic to, found about Commander, and asked if I could build a deck for him. He loves dragons, so my obvious choice was to pick The Ur-Dragon for him to control a varied draconid army.
This proyect is very similar to the C17 Draconic Domination deck, as I want it to be a mix of a beginner's deck and an optimized one. As for spells, they focus on permanents like enchantments (Crucible of Fire) and artifacts due to the dragon eminence's ability, focusing on ramp (Dreamstone Hedron) and card advantage (Elemental Bond). Other spells care about direct damage (Flame Sweep) and permanent removal (Crux of Fate).
And as for creatures, they are divided into 2 groups: the first one are low-cost creatures that care about dragons (Kargan Dragonrider, Orator of Ojutai) and the second one are the winged beasts. They are varied in converted mana cost and power, some are low (Dragon Egg, Dragon Hatchling), some are high (Flameblast Dragon, Hellkite Overlord). And finally we have the Tarkir legendary dragons that function well with dragon tribal themes (Silumgar, the Drifting Death, Atarka, World Render).
The idea is to cast these weaker creatures first, but that become more dangerous when there are dragons in the battlefield, controlling the board and generating card draw and ramp, to later play lots of dragons to overwhelm the opponents.
