This is my attempt of creating a modern variant of the '93/'94 classic deck "Underworld Dreams". It aims to punish the opponent for drawing cards, while at the same time, forcing him to do so.
Underworld Dreams deals 1 whenever your opponent draws a card. By using modern equivalents of Wheel of Fortune we force him to draw 7 cards again and again.
So here are the cards:
Underworld Dreams: This is the main win condition of this deck. We try to get it out early and to make our opponent draw as much cards as possible.
Burning Inquiry: Basically Winds of Change.
Reforge the Soul: This is basically a Wheel of Fortune. If we happen to draw this as the first card in each turn, its quite cheap. Otherwise... it's not.
Wheel of Fate: Just like Wheel of Fortune.
Molten Vortex: This is our alternative win condition. We just slam lands into our graveyard, draw new cards, and go on till our opponent is dead.
Blood Moon: There is nothing like making an opponent scoop just by playing this card. Usually you should play it AFTER you played Underworld Dreams...
Cathartic Reunion: Helps us digging for Underworld Dreams.
Faithless Looting: Helps digging as well.
Fatal Push: Just your basic black removal spell.
Lightning Bolt: Is either used as removal or to finish the game sometimes.
Sideboard:
The sideboard is a little wonky.
Anger of the Gods: Helps us deal with overly aggressive decks.
Blood Sun: 4 Blood Moon aren't enough! Make them scoop!
Duress & Inquisition of Kozilek: These can help us improve our matchup vs. blue decks by stripping possible counterspells. They also help dealing with Abrupt Decay and sorts.
Wheel of Fate: You never know. Sometime you just need it.
Relic of Progenitus: Deals with nasty graveyard strategies.
