First thoughts - Not enough draw or interaction.
Cards dont have to fit cat theme, but it is nice when they do. Until they make a 1 drop cat who discards, I need the odd elf or human to help out.
Idea is to get soul separator (t3) on the board with anointed procession (t4) - with regal caracal in gy; 4 of my one drops can discard for bonus to help get it there quickly. 5 mana on turn 5 would give two 2/2 lifelink flying white spirit cat tokens that add +1/+1 and lifelink to other cats, eight 3/3 white lifelink cat tokens, and two 3/3 black zombie tokens. If you happen to have Pride Sovereign out, he would get +12/+12 and lifelink from just those tokens.
Regal caracal draws serious attention everytime I played it (albeit in limited and kitchen table), so odds are if you get it on the battlefield it will soon be in graveyard.
After that, appeal // authority 1st half gives a creature +12/+12 and trample, just from the cat and zombie tokens made by sacrificing soul separator on Regal Caracal. For 1 green mana.
Without the soul separator / regal caracal combo, just pride Sovereign and appeal // authority is great for a secondary wincon. Pride sovreign having cmc of 3, and playing both halves of the aftermath card with the big cat's activated ability cost being a total of 4 mana, the curve is sweet. Having 2 Sovereigns out when you do this for 5 mana is just crazy if you exert them both after declaring attackers.
LANDS - Haven't considered best mana base, just threw in lands as placeholders for now
Some artifacts in the sideboard are a couple bucks each, but both would be very effective. Prowling Serpopard maybe the card to cut to make room, the 3 toughness and double green makes it less appealing, though its ability is nice in a deck with so many creature spells. Maybe I'll wind up not needing 24 lands.
Would key to the city be the right discard outlet for regal caracal? A turn later than the 1 drops i currently have, but maybe more useful with its other effects and abilities.
