The Best Grave-Hate for EDH (Card List) [Revisione 8]

Most of these are arguably stax cards, but they are a very specific subsection of stax. Never underestimate the strength of a graveyard deck. Even decks that don't have a commander focused on the graveyard might have small recursion effects (Faithless Looting, Eternal Witness). Worst case scenario: Protean Hulk, Hermit Druid, and Necrotic Ooze combos.

Before choosing grave-hate pieces, asses how badly you need it in your meta. If you need it badly, linear cards like Rest in Peace and Tormod's Crypt will be best. If it's only moderately needed, try to use cards that have an upside, so you at least get something (Ground Seal, Sentinel Totem).

A couple notes on how these cards made the list. Each one is either preventative (Rest in Peace, Grafdigger's Cage) or instant-speed (Relic of Progenitus, Faerie Macabre). Sorcery-speed grave-hate is overrated, and is terrible for stopping combos (Example: Bojuka Bog). There are also a number of 1 mana instants that exile a single card (Beckon Apparition, Fade from Memory). I only included the best cards of that type (Ravenous Trap, Scarab Feast).
