Necromancer's Toolbox:
[Stuff I want to test out in the deck.]

• Korlash, Heir to Blackblade x4 running in the 4 drop slot. Grandeur, plus he looks like a hardcore Viking badass. This is important.
• Extirpate and Surgical Extraction replacing the two instant spell slots when VS combo or certain card-dependent decks.
• Dismember is straight up amazing removal. It essentially costs 1 at instant speed.
• Withered Wretch in SB for graveyard hate VS graveyard-dependent decks. Keeps me on curve and is a utility creature.
• Undying Evil in SB when VS heavy removal decks.
• Lifebane Zombie in SB when VS green or white creature-heavy decks.

4/9/2017 - Cut 4 Highborn Ghoul for 4 Relentless Dead.

4/8/2017 - Considering a core deck change to blue and black. UB gives many new options for creatures and interesting effects. Will be researching further on spells and zombie bros it could bring in. However, I do enjoy the simplicity and straightforwardness of being a mono-colored aggro deck.

2/29/2016 - Moved 2 Whip of Erebos and 2 Graveborn Muse to the sideboard as they are not always relevant. Cut 2 Lord of the Undead as I have recently learned he has been errata'd to not include himself in his lord ability, making him way less good. Also cut 2 Cemetery Reaper as he was underperforming. Added 4 Geth's Verdict and 4 Victim of Night to the mainboard. More removal ought to make me more aggressive. Also switched out my 4 Stromgald Crusader with 4 Highborn Ghoul. The pro-white and pump abilities aren't always relevant to being an aggro deck, but the intimidate from Highborn Ghoul is always awesome and threatening.

2/26/2016 - Ghoulcaller's Chant is a powerful recursion card for zombies, but it is a dead draw with no creatures in the graveyard and bad in an opening hand if I'm not playing against a deck that uses a lot of removal against my creatures. Moved to sideboard. Added 4 Korlash, Heir to Blackblade to main creature base. His Grandeur ability makes drawing extras of him never a bad thing. More playtesting underway.

2/24/2016 - Tons of playtesting done. Many changes made to maindeck list to cut down on dead draws (no pun intended) and to make the deck more creature aggressive with better draw acceleration. Some recursion via Ghoulcaller's Chant also added. Due to the life being paid out for Sign in Blood and especially for Graveborn Muse, added 2 Whip of Erebos for lifelink and the Whip's reanimation ability. Interestingly, Erebos, God of the Dead himself is on curve. Dropped Gray Merchant of Asphodel as he was underperforming without Phyrexian Obliterator's BBBB cost pumping up devotion to stupid high levels. Endless Ranks of the Dead also cut; slow and expensive. More playtesting to come.

2/22/2016 - Tons of cards arrived! So many options now. Playtesting begins in full swing.

2/17/2016 - Switched 4 Victim of Night out with 4 Sign in Blood for more draw acceleration over additional removal. Replaced the 4 Phyrexian Obliterator in the original list with 2 Sangrophage and 2 Endless Ranks of the Dead. Phyrexian Obliterator playset is a bit out of my price range currently. Added a Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx. Removed an Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth. Will replace Urborg in maindeck when I am able to add 4 Ghost Quarter.
