Archived Theme Deck for Modern

This is the final revision of my original Simic Combine theme deck. This deck will not be further built, as I've changed my vision for my line of Ravnica Guild theme decks, but I want to preserve it here for the sake of posterity.

Original Description

Green/Blue based around evolve and +1/+1 counter manipulation. Heavy draw power.

Try to get creatures to evolve as early as possible and make use of the Zameck Guildmages as early and frequently as possible; it helps to get more +1/+1 counters and draw power. Use the Species Gorger to evolve everything to a minimum of 6/6.

Amazing combo for early elimination of problem creatures is using Vorel to double the counters on a Vigean Hydropon and then using Mutant's Prey.

Vorel is amazing with the Vastwood Hydra; get a Vastwood to ~10 +1/+1 counters and double it and swing every turn to get a chance of either massive damage or massive number of extra +1/+1 counters among the creatures. This does not work with the Nimbus Swimmer.
