(Backpack decks are a term among my local playgroup that refer to decks that solely exist to bolster another deck in a multiplayer format. Think of a goblin riding in a giant's backpack.)
This deck is meant to be played in a Two-Headed Giants or Etton format, but can be played alone, though it's not exactly recommended.
The Disaster deck is my love letter to the Johnny archetype, and has been a pet project of mine for many years. It is a counter-mill-removal-burn spellslinger deck that has little chance of winning alone but is the best reaction deck I've seen yet, as it has all the reactions available to the Grixis color combo (R/B/U). Technically the existence of planeswalkers in this violates the concept of a spellslinger deck, but I made exceptions at the time this was made due to planeswalkers being a big deal in my playgroup.
The goal of the deck is to react to everything and anything your opponents can do while your partner focuses entirely on securing the bag. Lots of creatures in your opponent's decks? Remove them. Opponent likes to look through their library? Mill them. Lots of spells being cast willy nilly? Counter that shit. Know they have no lifegain? Burn them to a crisp.
I know this deck isn't gonna be the greatest one out there, but hopefully someone who sees it and puts it together, even a budget copy without the fancy lands and all the planeswalkers and such, can have fun with it.
