To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
Six elves with a passion for rot-farming and a couple bags of spores set out to make the biggest fungus garden this side of Llanowar.
This deck requires a lot of micromanaging, but it really captures the feeling of spreading your mycelium throughout a suburban basement storage room until suddenly the whole house is condemned as a biohazard. The core strategy is to simply overwhelm your opponent with saprolings, and to this end the elves are there to provide more mana and the thallids can build up your pile of mushroom bois very quickly.
This deck is kind of hit or miss, but as long as you can avoid removal and build more saprolings every turn, you'll be fine. I've gained over 50 life from Luminescent Rain at one time and Echoing Courage can be a game-ender if you can bluff your opponent into taking one-third lethal damage. Eventually you'll be convoking Sprout Swarm and buying it back until you're tapped out; keep at it and release your spores at just the right moment!
Key Combos:
Many Saprolings + Echoing Courage
Many Saprolings + Luminescent Rain
Many Saprolings + Sprout Swarm
Many Saprolings + Strength in Numbers
