Theros Draft Deck Win:3 Loss:0 (Standard)

Third Theros draft and this time I went in with the goal to prepare a Green beat down draft deck. This was my plan until i opened the first JOU pack and got a Gondsend in the first pack....

The next pack passed to me had a godsend in it. The next pack had a Banishing Light....

There was just too many good pulls in W/U to ignore. This plaid off in the long run and eventually the deck became a control beat down variant, with combat tricks galore. As the draft continued i was more and more shocked by the guy passing me packs because he kept ignoring bad ass rares. Overall the games went perfectly, no land screw overs, no lack of power draws, no lack of answers, and no lack of consistency.

POWER PLAYS:
-Game one, Round 2: The winning blow was decided by Deiciding his blocker, copying it with Meletis Charlatan and blasting both his blocker and his Font of Vigor before activation. Simply Badass...

-Game two, Both Rounds: Akroan Skyguard, turn 2 steadily getting stronger and hitting for more. The game was quickly ended with a godsend on the skyguard.

-Game three, Both Rounds: Hour of Need is simply amazing. Got a dead draw with the Skyguard and Loyal Pegasus, all i needed to do was wait till my opponent targeted them then do Hour of Need to morph both my Skyguard and Pegasus into beefy 4/4 flyers. After that Kiora's Dismissal hilariously bounced the opponents debuff enchantment auras and the sphinxes easily cleaned the game up while I held Negate, Banishing Light, and Decide for his Iroas God and His Elspeth Planeswalker.

-Game Three, Round One: Gift of Immortality was attached on Aerie Worshipers and this allowed them to easily trade wish his blockers and not fear dying. This helped me to pump out enough bird token blockers to stall until the Hour of Need came to fished the job.

Closing Thoughts:
I'm not particularity keen on the idea of ding anything blue but when so many bomb rares are staring you in the face you have to jump on the opportunity.
