This deck is from our new podcast Mull to 3, Episode 8 'Mill to 3' (https://www.spreaker.com/user/mullto3/episode-8-mill-to-3) posted on the 16th of August 2017.
Soohan's adapted version of the Tier 1 deck Eldrazi Tron.
This utilises the well known Urza Lands and Expedition Map to search for the set in order to play strong, high-costed cards quickly so that that opponent simply can't keep up. Dropping Karn Liberated on Turn 3 certainly is strong.
The problem is that people started running land destruction (using Ghost Quarter etc.) and distortion like Blood Moon and Spreading Seas to screw us up!
Thankfully, Eldrazi Winter gave us a few key tools so that we can hedge our bets appropriately. Even after the banning of Eye of Ugin in Modern, we still have Eldrazi Temple to carry us through. The 1-2 punch of Thought-Knot Seer and Reality Smasher is often brutal enough to frustrate or to simply finish in a turn or two after they've been played.
Oh, and you can't forget Chalice of the Void. Although we don't run it as a Turn 1 play, it's still quite punishing if you get it down Turn 2 for X=1, shutting down a vast number of spells in Modern. Just don't forget the trigger to counter the spell!
It's a well-trodden deck that's Tier 1 at the moment, but here's Soohan's take based on availability, really. Soohan will update further to my tastes and meta upon more play with it.
