To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
Flample Chimeras! Wooo!
This brew has been really fun to play. It's ultra-budget as it turns out - there is not a single rare in the deck! There are plenty of counters and bounce to have a fighting chance against most decks floating around out there. Early game the deck plays pretty much like any "draw-go". Mid game, when the coast is clear, you can poop out a pretty mean Spellheart Chimera. Horizon Chimera can flash in end of turn for surprise beats and some steady life gain.
Card draw and filtering is really good with Anticipate, Voyage's End, Dissolve, and Divination which makes the deck play very consistently.
Against aggressive decks, side out the strokes and bring in the rest of the seismic ruptures. Since our dudes have flying, it's pretty one-sided. :)
Against mid-range decks, side out the seismic ruptures and bring in the rest of the strokes.
Against control decks, side out nullify and bring in Stubborn Denials.
Voyage's end ends up doing a lot of work and has been key to a lot of clutch plays in any match-up: Remove their guys for tempo or rescue your own from removal, all the while getting that tasty scry.
