Boros Devotion (Standard)

This deck's purpose is to be aggressive as well as defensive to muster enough devotion to hit the enemy hard and obtain victory.

CREATURES

Ash Zealot: A cheap 2/2 with first strike and haste along with 2 red devotion.A great card to start out with.
Frostburn Weird: Along with two red devotion, the weird makes for a very versatile blocker with adjusting power.
Burning-Tree Emissary: Another two red devotion that makes for a great combo maker for either bringing in an additional creatures or activating Nykthos.
Boros Reckoner: A damn good creature with three red devotion, optional first strike, and can block attackers to deal additional damage.
Fanatic of Mogis: The prime reason why this deck is very painful. Only one red devotion, but it does damage to the opponent based on your current red devotion when he enters the battlefield.
Purphoros, God of the Forge: Not a primary player, but this god can help me by hurting the player or each creature I bring in, and with enough devotion becomes a powerful, indestructible threat.
Stormbreath Dragon: It's a 4/4 flyer with two red devotion, haste, protection from white, and can transform into a 7/7 and damages the opponent based on his or her hand size. There's no reason not to use this.

The other cards:

Chained to the Rocks: The main reason why there's white in this deck. This make for a great counter is there's a opposign creature that could threaten your devotion buildup or could cost you your win. This takes them out of play and clears a path to the opponent.
Hammer of Purphoros: Along with 2 red devotion and haste, this gives me the option to bring in a 3/3 colorless golem if I am in need of creatures and have excess mountans.
Mizzium Mortars: Can be used to remove a troublesome creature with 4 or less toughness, or do 4 damage to all my opponent's creatures if needed.
Chandra, Pyromaster: Chandra gives two red devotion along with the option of stopping a creature from blocking or an additional card draw that I can either play or exile.

The sideboard helps me out if needed. Assemble the Legion helps build up tokens that can help block or can be used with Purphoros to do increasing damage each turn. Anger of the Gods is a cheap board wipe if I run against a lot of cheap cards. Wear/Tear helps is I run into troublesome enchantments like Detention Sphere or artifacts. Ratchet bomb is to help against enemy tokens. Aureila's Fury is a good spell to tap blockers and prevent the opponent to counter for a turn.
