Kagemaro is the true star of the show being the commander
Whole point of the deck is to win off hand size with several different win cons.
Tutor for Ad Nauseam and play it on opponents end step or go for Necropotence. Get Skirge Familiar if you can and Faith of the Devoted. Discard a card and pay for Faith of the Devoted with Skirge Familiars ability, gain all life you lost back or win at the same time. If amount discarded isn't enough cast Shadow of the Grave to return cards and repeat process. Ad Nauseam will almost always amass the same amount of cards as Necropotence, but As Nauseam is the superior choice due to not being locked into only being played on your turn.
Play Arena, Dark Confidant, Pain Seer, Dark Tutelage. Amass a large hand size and don't worry about losing life the average curve of this deck is 1.72 cmc. Cast Dauthi Embrace, Lightning Greaves, and Kagemaro, give him shadow equip Greaves swing for commander or if hand size isn't big enough Tainted Strike when damage goes through and if you have 9 cards in hand.
Amass large hand size from methods above. Put Dying Wish on Kagemaro and use his ability to kill himself and gain life equal to hand size, either win or set yourself up to be at a large advantage.
Copy method 1 for large hand size with Skirge Familiar, discard entire hand and Torment of Hailfire.
Sneak in an Oblivion Crown 1 shot with a large hand size with almost any creature.
Tips and Tricks
When using Kagemaro if someone tries to exile him with targeted spell Imp's Mischief is to protect him, or Muck Drubb.
If using Heartless Summoning and Skirge Familiar; you can discard Muck Drubb and cast him essentially for free with madness being reduced and Skirge generating that 1 black you'll need to cast him.
Almost never cast Kagemaro from command zone, when you use his sac ability, use Supernatural Stamina or Undying Evil to bring him back immediately after you wipe the board.
The 0 drop or X creatures are used as exchange fodder with Tortured Existence. You pay a black and discard to exchange them with Kagemaro.
Korlash is a great early game threat that will become a late game monster if other methods of winning are denied and more than likely will almost always safely survive a Kagemaro board wipe. This deck practically guarantees a land drop every turn.
Use Claws of Gix anytime a permanent is being exiled or one of your enchants are becoming too much. Necropotence will usually be always sacrificed to claws to allow for a healthy draw amount and regain ability to discard.
If Ad Nauseam or Necrotpotence pull underwhelming cards, use Insidious Dreams to pull win cons.
This deck can safely start with a 1 land hand due to the massive amounts of lands present.
Disclaimer
Black is my favorite color in MTG and I absolutely enjoy the play style. Feel free to change whatever you think is necessary to the deck such as adding Cruel Tutor or Imperial Seal, or having them replace Mastermind's Acquisition or Diabolic Tutor to help lower the curve. It was built in mind to get the most out of Ad Nauseam and make Kagemaro gigantic. Hopefully who ever builds this deck will have fun and enjoy it as much as I have.
