It's a "wither" deck that I built a long time ago (2008 or so). It's partially based off the Army of Entropy intro deck from the Shadowmoor block. The key cards in the deck are the Kulrath Knights, the Scars, and Blowfly Infestations. With these cards I can control my opponents ability to even play. It packs a punch in the form of little -1/-1 counters. Corrosive Mentor makes sure that even my non-wither creatures (with the exception of Thunderblust) can deal with damage. I threw in the two Quietus Spikes to attach to my creatures after the Kulrath Knights are in play, because with the myriad of creatures, instants and sorceries dishing out -1/-1 counters there is rarely a blocker to stop me from dealing damage with a creature equipped with the spike, which is a quick killer at that point. Rain of Gore prevents my opponents from gaining any advantage in their life total and causes them to receive damage instead. Crumbling Ashes let's me get rid of my opponents creatures slowly but surely at the beginning of each turn and Ashling let's me pick off the one I choose whenever I deal damage to my opponent, and with Kulrath Knight the creatures are pretty useless to begin with. I've won countless matches with my "Wither" deck and it's one that will never get dismantled in my collection.
