Lifegain, +1/+1 counters (Modern)

A midrange deck with high scaling relying on hp gain to empower creatures.

I'm running this deck since 2017-2018 and i'm not really in touch with the latest releases so if you have any cards suggestion feel free to let me know :)

> Base guidelines

Authority of the Consuls help to slow creatures with haste/dash... but also slows opponent defense and deny flash blockers. The life gain combine with Soul's Attendant can help to face tank some early agression while triggering the +1/+1 counters effects.

Knight of Meadowgrain, Brimaz, King of Oreskos and Vampire Nighthawk are great to contain early threats or pressure the opponent while feeding Ajani's Pridemate. They can also be empowered by Serene Steward if needed. Anguished Unmaking and Hero's Downfall are here to remove majors inconveniences.

Angelic Accord and Crested Sunmare can be easily triggered bringing heavy bodies on your board.

Ajani Steadfast +1 capacity is a no brainer to use on your best creature on the board.
In the case of Elspeth, Knight-Errant, both of her +1 can be usefull. The 1/1 soldier token to add bodies on the board and a free lifegain proc from Soul's Attendant and the +3/+3 flight for agression.

This deck has multiple "finisher" who will generally hard snowball the game if not dealt with, they also combine well with one another. Archangel of Thune and True Conviction being the most straightforward.
Sanguine Bond and Exquisite Blood are already really great on their own, they add the classic instant combo.

Brave the Elements against blast and removal
Elixir of Immortality is an anti mill and can help if the opponent is using too much blast/removal/counterspells
Holy Day, panic button for creatures heavy threats
