This deck was built to play Theros Block Constructed. I built a Naya aggro deck, with green being the main color, because I love green and I think Naya is one of the strongest color combinations in Theros block. The idea of the deck is to ramp with the green two-drop creatures into bigger threats, some of which have trample or flying, and crush your opponent via combat.

DECK TECK: On Theros block, the enchantment theme is quite strong and it's very hard to build a deck without ANY enchantments whatsoever; what this deck does is run a minimum of enchantments on the main deck (3 Courser of Kruphix Buy and 3 Banishing Light Buy) in order to avoid main deck enchantment-hate cards then, if you played any enchantment on the 1st match, on the 2nd match you should side out ALL enchantments from the main deck (making all enchantment-hate cards your opponents are siding in to side in become useless) and side in the appropriate cards to beat the deck you're currently playing against; you may want to keep those enchantments on the main deck if your opponent isn't playing white/green (the colors that can actually deal with enchantments) or if you didn't play any enchantments on the 1st match.
This deck has some enchantment-hate cards itself, but in a very aggressive form, that makes this card playable even if opponent isn't playing any enchantments at all. Yes, I'm talking about Polis Crusher Buy, which I included four copies on main deck. Polis Crusher Buy is good on his own (4/4 with trample for four mana), and has a great follow up that can enter the battlefield the turn after, making him a bigger threat: Ajani, Mentor of Heroes Buy, with a 'tick up' it can turn any mana dork (without defender) into a real threat (a Voyaging Satyr Buy would become a Erhnam Djinn Buy), or spread those counters around to increase the chances of your creatures surviving a Bile Blight Buy or the Anger of the Gods Buy. And Ajani, Mentor of Heroes Buy has yet two more relevant abilities; usually it's 1st ability helps the aggro plan to tick your opponent's clock faster (mainly with fliers and/or tramplers - Fanatic of Xenagos Buy, Polis Crusher Buy, Flame-Wreathed Phoenix Buy and Stormbreath Dragon Buy); it's 2nd ability is more useful when you're either running out of cards, in need of more threats or answers.

I recommend this deck if you LIKE to:

  • Play something different from what most players are playing
  • Play big creatures (Dragons, Phoenix, Hydras)
  • See your opponents being overwhelmed by your board state
  • Play planeswalkers and their abilities
  • Not having to worry about devotion, constellation or heroic triggers or cards in your graveyard
  • Not having to worry much about crazy/countless interactions amongst your permanents & spells

I DON'T recommend this deck if you WOULD like to:

  • Make some crazy combos and/or infinite loop/combo stuff
  • Draw lots of cards and have your hand full of cards/spells most of the time
  • Play a long grinding control-like game
