Locthwain's Chosen (EDH / Commander)

My playgroup is attempting a Deck Building Challenge under the following deck building guidelines:

While you can run any number of nonland cards from Core Sets and Commander products, you must have 1 card from Throne of Eldraine for each card you pick outside of the set.
Land Max: 38
Your commanders will be the Knight and rare Noble legendary creatures from Throne Of Eldraine.
Limit 1 Planeswalker per deck.
You can only use cards printed from 4th Edition, 5th Edition, 6th Edition, 7th Edition, 8th Edition, 9th Edition,10th Edition, M11, M12, M13, M14, M15, M19, M20, Magic Origins, Throne of Eldraine, and any of the Commander products that have been released.

My randomly selected pair was Ayara, Chosen of Locthwaine and Syr Konrad, the Grim. The focus from here is to deploy as many black creatures as possible to burn with Ayara and return them to hand/battlefield to continue the burn with Syr Konrad.

One of the most powerful plays in the deck is using Ashnod's Altar to sacrifice any number of creatures (include Ayara) to add {C}{C} for each one sacrificed, causing the table to lose 1 life for each from Syr Konrad. Then, using part of the mana made this way, you play Living Death. From here, Syr Konrad will drain your opponents in two ways: one for every creature exiled from the graveyard, and then one for every creature sacrificed by the spell. When Ayara and the other creatures in your graveyard are returned by Living Death, Ayara will see the others come into play and burn your opponents for 1 for each of those returned creatures.
