I’d like the deck to be a competitive optimized fringe cedh deck focused on theft.

Please review the deck list and advise what cards can be removed to optimize the deck. I have a large maybe board of cards I own which might be good replacements already.

Budget for upgrades: $250

GENERAL:

The Pilot wishes the deck to be more competitive than it currently is, preferrably hitting a Fringe cEDH / High Power level with it. The theme of the deck is theft which by itself is usually a relatively weak strategy. The deck is currently running a Demonic Consultation + Thassa's Oracle combo finish which is powerful but not really on theme and both cards are dead draws on their own. The deck doesn't have many ways to tutor the win condition so it would struggle to find the two pieces needed to win. This is why we're considering moving away from that combo finish to a more flavourful spell looping win condition that revolves around Praetor's Grasp being able to exile all our opponents' libraries. We have most of the important pieces for that combo so the transition should be somewhat smooth.

We also note that the deck is running a healthy amount of ramp but some key pieces are missing from the land base and ramp spells that let us produce mana outside of our colours. The draw section is also fairly thin so a few cheap burst draw spells to give the deck some raw card advantage.

Many non-synergistic cards were removed. Among those were pinpoint removal spells because they destroy things putting them out of our reach. Instead it would be preferrable to have bounce spells that put cards back to our opponents' hands where we can cast them. Alternatively it would also be a good idea to fill some slots with counterspells since Sen Triplets needs some protection and seeing opponents' hands turns counterspells from reactive spells to proactive spells.

Overall the deck was streamlined to have more ramp and efficient draw, reactive interaction, provide more knowledge of our opponents' resources and it supports Sen Triplets as the main plan of survival until the combo goes off.

The upgrades stand at around $215 which leaves the Pilot some leeway in working in one of the more expensive potential upgrades. Demonic Tutor was recommended.

An outline of how the game winning combo works:
1) Find Isochron Scepter, Dramatic Reversal and Sensei's Divining Top.
2) Make infinite mana and untaps with IsoRev.
3) Tap Top, in response untap it with IsoRev and tap the Top again.
4) Resolving the abilities: first you draw a random card from your deck, then you put the Top on top of your deck. The second Top activation resolves: it draws the Top and tries to put the Top on top of your deck but there's no Top on the battlefield so it can't do that.

We've now netted one card and the Top is in our hand again. Repeat this cycle to draw your entire deck (it's safest to draw the cards one by one).

5) Play Grand Abolisher as soon as you find it.
6) Cast Praetor's Grasp targeting any opponent and exile the first card you see, doesn't really matter what it is.
7) Play the Top so that it's safely on the battlefield.
8) Cast Echo of Eons and in response cast Narset's Reversal targeting Echo of Eons.
9) Resolving the stack: Narset's Reversal puts Echo of Eons into your hand after which it goes into the graveyard. Then Echo of Eons resolves shuffling your entire graveyard into your deck and you draw seven cards.
10) Re-draw your entire deck with IsoRev and the Top as outlined above.
11) Re-cast Praetor's Grasp exiling another card.

Repeat this cycle until you've exiled all the cards in your opponents' decks.

12) Cast Esper Charm targeting yourself with the discard mode. Discard a useless card and Cephalid Coliseum. Your graveyard contains three cards: Esper Charm, Cephalid Coliseum and a random card.
13) Cast Sevinne's Reclamation targeting Cephalid Coliseum bringing it to the battlefield. Your graveyard still contains three cards.
14) Cast four instants or sorceries (for example Mystical Tutor and counter it with Negate, Swan Song and Dovin's Veto). Your graveyard contains now seven cards so threshold is a thing.
15) Activate Cephalid Coliseum targeting an opponent. They lose the game.
16) Loop your grave back into your deck with Echo of Eons, re-draw the deck and repeat the Cephalid Coliseum kill for all opponents.

ADDITIONS:

Mana Confluence, City of Brass, Tarnished Citadel, Cascading Cataracts and Exotic Orchard were added to let the deck produce mana outside of its colours more easily. Tolaria West was added as a tutor for a special land, Mana Crypt or Pact of Negation. While at it also Fellwar Stone was added and the Talisman and Signet cycles completed.

Some cheap burst draw was added to get the ball rolling: Night's Whisper, Read the Bones etc.

Cleansing Nova was added due to its modality giving us a little more versatility in terms of useful scenarios.

Paradox Haze and Sphinx of the Second Sun were added as support pieces for Sen Triplets. Swiftfoot Boots also provide extra utility in protecting Sen Triplets or providing haste to something stolen.

Telepathy provides free information of all hands which is a powerful effect when used with Sen Triplets and counterspells.

All pieces for the entire winning combo: Dramatic Reversal, Echo of Eons, Esper Charm, Grand Abolisher, Isochron Scepter, Narset's Reversal, Sevinne's Reclamation.

CUTS:

Land base cleaned up: removed some tapped lands, adjusted ratios of basics. Two ramp spells were also cut: Wayfarer's Bauble and Thought Vessel.

A lot of non-synergistic cards were removed. Some of them played into the idea of playing someone else's top card which doesn't really support Sen Triplets much.

Thassa's Oracle and Demonic Consultation were removed.

A lot of pinpoint removal spells were removed or adjusted to more powerful / versatile versions of the spells.

Some mass destruction spells were removed.

POTENTIAL UPGRADES:

Free counterspells (self-explanatory).

Copy effects that multiply Sen Tripletses on the battlefield.

A couple of powerful tutors.
