Oh No! A Zombie (Casual)

Extremely effective zombie deck (nearly undefeated for many years). This deck started around Onslaught, and was tuned with new cards up until ~2009. I’ve considered it final ever since.

Strategy is to kill with Shepherd of Rot + Gempalm Polluter, and your backup is swinging with a pumped-up, shambling army thanks to Undead Warchief. A large number of one-drops plays into the primary strategy effectively. If Dark Ritual is in your opening hand, always save for turn 2 if it allows you to drop a Graveborn Muse or Undead Warchief. Recursion is scattered throughout in the form of Gravedigger, Unholy Grotto and Oversold Cemetery. The cemetery provides unbeatable card advantage, recurring Polluters or Fleshbag Marauder’s over and over and over… Graveborn Muse and the Polluter itself round out the card advantage suite. You’ll be shocked how quickly your opponent’s life total is whittled away.

There are some newer cards that could add “power” to the deck, but trust me: It’s not needed. My friends loathe this deck, and almost refuse to play as is. A nice side effect? The deck ports instantly to multiplayer, with no real changes needed.
