Dinosaur Ramp (Standard)

I made this deck up all on my own and went far at my local Friday Night Magic with it. I live in the North FL area and a lot of really good players come to my store I went 5-2 and made top 8. It does about 50/50 against Ramunap Red deck and does well against everything else. Basically you just lay down your ramp cards and play big dino's to swing. Huatli has been awesome in this deck she has so much going for her. You can also just cast her and spend her 3 starting Loyalty counters dealing 1 damage to 3 different enemy creatures so they can't block that turn and swing for lethal which I did a few times. Also summoning 3/3 Dino's with Trample is incredibly useful. And her plus can allow you to live and turn the tides against Ramunap red and Temur decks. Gideon of the Trials is a card I'm trying out to help against UW Approach decks so that you can out last them and swing for lethal. When fighting against UW Approach be careful not to swing with your whole team as they can use Settle the wreckage to exile your creatures. However the land cards you get from Settle the wreckage plays very well to your advantage in this deck. In one of my matches against UW Approach I gained 4 land cards then next turn summoned Gishath which his ability allowed me to cast for free 2 Ripjaw raptors and a Kinjalli's sunwing. Deathgorge scavenger is a great card to help stabilize you against Ramnunap red while also removing harmful cards in your opponents graveyard such as Earthshaker Khenra. Solemnity is a great counter to Sultai and Temur decks. It stops the decks dead in their tracks and allows you to play your huge Dino's while they have moderate creatures that you can trample over. Not to mention it stops all powerful spells Temur has such as Confiscation coup and Harnessed Lightning. I hope you enjoy the deck, I really love this deck and it is a lot of fun to play!
