To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
Milling yourself in this deck equals drawing cards.
I must warn you the deck is honestly degenerate and you will quickly start playing alone if left unchecked. The ramp engine is permanent based and actually much faster than the usual sorceries green use.
It's not rare to have around 10 mana on turn 4.
Don't play it against other budget decks, you'll be stomping them for sure.A few words on some cards :
Most of the cards in the deck are either permanents able to be used with Grolnok's ability or non-permanent spells able to be cast from the graveyard.
Creatures with Adventure are permanents and therefore are playable with Grolnok. You can cast their Adventure side from croak exile. Same for MDFC cards that have a permanent on their front face and a nonpermanent card on their back (Augmenter Pugilist // Echoing Equation for example).
Tlincalli Hunter is broken in this deck. Play a big thing for free in your turn and play counterspell creatures for free during your opponent's turns.
Not much use playing frogs as they're mostly bad creatures, it's easier to mill ourselves without attacking with them. We're playing some of them though because Mothdust Changeling has evasion, Jade Avenger is virtually a 4/4 for 2, The Bears of Littjara slowly grants a 4/4 frog with a removal and Froghemoth is big and hasty.
Essence flux is one of the few cards that are lost if milled but it's so powerful that it warrants a slot. It blinks a counterspell creature or a board booster creature for a single mana.
