To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
The typical monored aggro but centered around the prowess mechanic. I know in pionner for these types of decks there´s a lack of spells that dont let you cheat on mana with low cost resources (example, Manamorphose) and mix up with blue for defense and card draw, but with Runaway Steam-Kin, Magmatic Channeler and Light Up the Stage, this strategy could work.
The card that lets us run the playset of Wizard's Lightning is the new addition from BRO, Dwarven Forge-Chanter. Before this card, it was so hard to try this deck because there was no optimal way of playing the playset of Wizard's Lightning alongside a good 2 cmc creature that paired well with it. So the solution for that was playing Viashino Pyromancer, which made us able to play the full playset of Wizard's Lightning without getting in trouble at the moment we want it to cost 1 mana.
The sideboard is made of cards that are frequently added to monored decks, such as Rending Volley or Roast, and as a late game thread vs control/slow decks I prefered the x2 Experimental Frenzy because of its synergy with our plan.
In the possible cards section, I selected some cards that you can try in the deck. Some of them are very good options, like Chandra, Dressed to Kill. For some of the others in the list, be aware that the main deck is made to exploit the fact that we can play 4 Wizard's Lightning as a Lightning Bolt in Pionner and the prowess mechanic at the same time. Some of the options are slower, but not bad. So be careful adding some of this cards because we are playing 18 lands to avoid that flood situation. Good luck and have fun!
