To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
This Deck is an aggressive 3 color version of pirate tribal focused on hitting an aggressive low curve and out valuing your opponent into a turn 5-7 win. The idea is to play a one drop creature like Bomat courier or stormtamer and starting on the beat down, turn two try to drop a flying or menace threat and begin building some board presence, turn three is kind of loose because of a lack of dedicated three drops so try to get a value two drop and rigging runner out for full potential value, turn 4 is where this deck get vicious, if you are confidant you can get in with three pirates and have admiral in your hand play her and go wide, if you get through you will steal one of their power pieces and be able to defend with it, if you can't play the Admiral you should be able to play hostage taker and remove a key blocker and possibly recast it on your 5th turn. By turn 5 you should have either lost or be able to finish them off in the next turn or two, so if you can play Dire Fleet Ravager and go for the last couple points you may need.
The Sideboard is their to allow this deck to be more of a controlling mid-range menace and to help hold against the Ramunap red and Approach decks that we can struggle against in game one.
Against Ramunap Red (out worst match up) try to just trade effeciently and remember that they will often remove a blocker each combat so plan around it, side in vraska's contempt, Bontu's reckoning, and abrade to help keep up with their fast damage, don't try to out rush them (won't happen) but instead focus on board clear and value and try to ride out to later turns where you can drop powerful 4 drops and steal their dudes.
