This is my very first deck, since I started playing MTG like 2 weeks ago or so.
It started as a mono black devotion, and this is the (very different) result after several days working on it.
The main idea behind it is to pump up one of both (or multiple of both) Lotleth Troll and Scavenging Ooze at the same time, discarding cards such as Slitherhead (which is recycled) and Wasteland Viper (which can be cast beforehand for it's "instant" ability). Keeping the table clean with Abrupt Decay and Devour Flesh (which can be used on my creatures aswell if they're about to die to recover lives, especially if pumped up), helped by Desecration Demon and Agent of the Fates (Burst of strenght is especially good on this guy). Predator's rapport will provide lives as long as you cast it on something pumped up, and Corpsejack Menace serves to speed up that process. Crowned Ceratok is mainly there to give trample to Scavenging Ooze, but might also be something to sacrifice in favour of the troll, counting you've got a nice Whip of Erebos on top of everything to revive it and provide lifelink on some fatties. Lastly, assuming you've got plenty of black symbols on the table, Gray Merchant of Asphodel can be both a last resort life saver and a powerful finishing card.
Feel free to comment and give me tips that could increase the capabilities of this deck, since, as I said, I'm pretty new and I might be wrong on several things (especially card ratios, apart from mana which seems more or less fine to me).
