GRN Gruul Frenzy v1.3.2 (Standard)

Deck is based around abusing Experimental Frenzy and Wayward Swordtooth to get as many big Dino's onto the battlefield as quickly as possible. Vivien Reid, Karn, Scion of Urza and Treasure Map are all to help filter cards or clear the top of the deck when Experimental Frenzy is in play. Kraul Harpooner is primarily used for blocking fliers or killing them.

The purpose of having Thud in the deck is to use it as a finisher by throwing a large creature at their face. Good candidates for throwing are any of the 5/x Dino's, Ghalta, Primal Hunger and the Kraul Harpooner (when thrown the same turn that it ETB to exploit the undergrowth trigger). The Experimental Frenzy acts like a Bomat Courier by refilling your hand. For 4 mana, you can then cast from your hand.

I am considering a one-of Ranging Raptor's as a way to try and thin more land from the deck. I had considered putting in a Ripjaw Raptor instead to help with removal (5 Toughness) but I would rather thin the deck instead of refilling my hand. Using Ripjaw Raptor and Reliquary Tower together might also be a good Value Add.

The single tap land is for mana smoothing to make sure that I can cast Experimental Frenzy as soon as Turn 4 and Regisaur Alpha on turn 5 if the cards are in hand.

This deck has a lot of potential and is a modified version of a deck that went 5-0 in a Magic Online League (https://www.mtggoldfish.com/archetype/standard-green-red-stompy)
