To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
My playgroup came up with a format we dubbed Thrifty Dragon Highlander. The rules are:
Beyond that standard EDH rules.
The deck does not make you friends, people tend to be attached to their permanents, however the sheer w a l u e of stealing stuff and turning it into better things with stuff like Jalira is truly enjoyable.
Due to the fact that the list on here became outdated, and the constantly increasing cost of magic cards, I am no longer sure which 10 cards were my $2 limit cards.
--Strategy--
Steal your opponent's good creatures. This is mainly achieved with Yasova, and she comes with a set of cards in the Yasova Support section intended to increase her power to and help her steal bigger creatures. The Theft & Threaten section is filled with backup effects for obtaining your opponents' creatures.
Once you threaten a creature you want to do something with it, this is where Bazaar Trader, Conjurer's Closet and sacrifice effects come in to play. You can either sacrifice it for some kind of advantage, such as fetching basic lands or creature's from your deck (using Perilous Forays and Jalira, Master Polymorphist respectively) or you can make your control permanent. To make a threatened creature remain under your control, either target it with conjurer's closet, or give yourself control of it using Bazaar Trader. To do this, threaten the creature, then tap Bazaar Trader targeting the threatened creature and yourself. Along with the sacrifice engines in the main section there are a few cards that let you sacrifice creatures for other reasons, such as Primal Growth and Demonmail Hauberk.
The rest of the deck is fleshed out with some budget friendly ramp, draw and interaction, along with a few fun creatures who can help you take over a game, in case your opponent's decks don't put many creatures into play for you to steal.
My meta has a lot of graveyard and hexproof in it so Bonds of Mortality, Tormod's Crypt, Crook of Condemnation and Calming Verse are aimed at dealing with this, and may not be necessary cards for you, replace them with whatever suits you.
