Boros Reckoner (Casual)

The strategy is to use Boros Reckoner and Spitemare's ability to cause damage to the opponent.

Damage spells that can do damage to Boros Reckoner and Spitemare are Chandra's Defeat (5 damage), Roast (5 damage), Lightning Helix (3 damage also gain 3 life).

Dictate of the Twin Gods doubles the damage. So if Dictage of the Twin Gods is out and a Chandra's Defeat is used on Boros Reckoner it does 10 damage to Boros Reckoner and then that gets translated to 20 damage directly to the opponent.

To protect Boros Reckoner and Spitemare the use of Ephemeral Shields, Boros Charm, and Gift of Immortality are put into the deck. Also Kytheon, Hero Of Akros gets flipped.

To flip Kytheon, Hero of Akros quickly Kari Zev, Skyship Raider is placed into the mix. With one Kytheon, Hero of Akros and Kari Zev, Skyship Raider out one should be able to be able to flip Kytheon to Gideon, Battle-Forged on Turn 3. Using the +1 loyalty will give target creature indestructible, until next turn.

Isochron Scepter is to be used as an unlimited source of either damage or indestructiblity for the creatures. Cast it with one of the many spells that do damage or gives creatures indestructibility, they all cost 2 or less damage.

Mirrorwing Dragon and Zada, Hedron Grinder can be used to use one spell among multiple Reckoners and Spitemares. If there are multiple Reckoners and Spitemares out I can use a damage spell to do damage to all the creatures the deck has out which translate to damage directly to the opponent or use an indestructible spell on Mirrorwing Dragon or Zada, Hedron Grinder and now all the creatures on the board now have indestructible which would be good for blocking or setting up the next damage spell without killing off the creatures.

Pyromancer Ascension and Reverberate are used to copy spells. Useful to maximize the carnage or protection.

Sideboard Notes:

Settle the Wreckage can be used to clear away the opponents attacking creatures instead of using the deck's creatures and possibly losing them for next turn.

Volcano Hellion can be used on Boros Reckoner or Spitemare the amount of life that you have when you play Volcano Hellion can be dealt to one of those two creatures, which then deals that much damage to the opponent. If you have higher life, than you can finish the game just by putting Volcano Hellion onto the battlefield.
