So here'sa bit a of a janky deck that revolves around the Explore mechanic.
I really have no idea if this is even playable but at least it looks fun, doesn't it?
The plan is pretty simple, start playing small pieces and get value from this wonderful mechanic wich looks a lot like Scry but is way better! Creatures are low cost so the only 21 lands of the deck should be enough, not considering you're going to pick up every land you find while exploring.
Panharmonicon and Path to discovery will encrease the number of times your creatures will explores and the odds of putting a +1/+1 counter on them.
Of course this wouldnt be enough so here's some extra value from Wildgrouth Walker, Shadowed Caravel and Winding Constrictor, all increasing the number of counters you'll put on creatures (and gaining some lifes, why not)
I know it isn't a real aggro deck and that there are a lot of better midrange deck in the standard meta that performs way better than this will ever do, but this is also really budget, with the lands and the removal being the most expensive cards (so technically not the core part of the deck, easy to replace)
please comment on the deck for ideas on the build and the sideboard, i'm gonna give this a try at some FNM sooner or later and i really need opinions!
ABOUT THE MAYBE BOARD:
Rhonas the Indomitable is a card i wanted to play since the Amonkhet Pre-release but i never found the right green shell to put him in... might this be the one? with small creatures that tend to get bigger and bigger while the games go on, it should be easy to fire it up. He also is a good mana sink for late game, if you have nothing interesting to cast. So, maybe.
Herald of Secret Streams could be a good add to the deck, maybe i can splash blue to run him in the 2 slot of the Vizier of the Menagerie? I dont know if it's worth it, the risck is to mess up with the mana base.
Nature's way is a good removal in mid-to-late game, the plan is to use it on your biggest creature and gain advantage on the board while setting for a big vigilance+trample attack. I think it doesn't perform as well as i would like it to do, so it's just one more maybe to try out.
