This deck is practically standard. If you hope to have some shot at beating modern decks you should employ the use of some stronger modern equivalents.

Switching Shock out for Lightning Bolt, and Searing Spear out for Bump in the Night would be a step somewhat in the right direction.

You need to look at Volcanic Geyser, Bonfire of the Damned, & Blasphemous Act as well.

I started to tell you the same thing (about the name)

ETA- Also may want to consider Dreadbore in place of Terminate since it gives you the ability to kill a planeswalker as well as a creature.

Yeah, a lot of the cards that everyone suggested I have looked at before, just a big part of this deck is the cheaper aspect of it. Making this a standard deck, or better in modern would be quite easy by switching out a few cards.
