should consider Faith's Shield for protecting your planeswalkers and Throne of Geth for ramping up the loyalty counters. :)

No you get no value and solve no problem for the turn.
With the Supreme Verdict, Gideon, Wall Omen, Cryptic Command, Path, Detention Sphere our Planes are safe.
