the idea is good, but the deck is too slow, you need some cost 1 who can't be blocked (there are plenty) and something to protect your creatures, any wrath and you are dead

Creatures like Gudul Lurker or Slither Blade, perhaps? Or Triton Shorestalker?   It would make the deck a bit faster.  Blossoming Defense helps protect individual creatures, but I suspect Teferi's Protection might be a little too much mana at 3 CMC.  Any particular cards you would recommend?
