Memnarch could be useful, since he allows you to turn some other permanents into artifacts (including padeem itself).
Besides that, you can spread alot of salt if you steal a good creature (Gisela, good Eldrazis, opponents commander etc) with menmnarch, tell the table that you don't need this junk and sacrifice it into other cards like Arcum Dagsson. 8)
