You can pay life instead of mana to cast the top card of your library, and you can keep doing this until you inevitably hit a land. But...

• Necropotence can exile that card for you.
• Circu, Dimir Lobotomist can exile the land, so long as the card you just cast was blue or black.
• Yidris, Maelstrom Wielder can cascade through this.
• You can use Vampiric Tutor or Mystical Tutor or most one mana tutors to put a card on top, then immediately cast it.
• Aetherflux Reservoir basically negates the lifeloss.

This card is crazy. Not every deck will use it, but every deck that does will abuse it.

I mean I think it'll put Breya back on the map, the problem is it has no combos so it's stuck as a broken combination of Ad Nauseam and Necropotence that can't guarantee a win on its own

step 1: activate his -2
step 2: play a big threat (non instant/sorcery)
step 3: if some1 counters this threat, play any copy spell like Twincast
step 4: copy twincast with with rals -2 trigger
step 5: copy twincast with itself
step 6: repeat step 5 until everone else is dead, then copy the counterspell to break the loop
