Yeah, don't trust anything posted on EpicStream. It's the closest thing to a one man circle-jerk I've ever seen.

He sort of quoted MaRo right but then again there's a big difference between "unlikely" and "most likely never".

The point of Future Sight was to print cards (more specifically, mechanics) that will appear at some point in the future. That's why there were all sorts of cards with gravestorm or wizardcycling. Future Sight 2 would be something else like this.

And as per usual, the EpicStream post was way out of proportion to the actual quote. Hooray for clickbait I guess.

Do they have any intention of using those mechanics? Gravestorm seems really cool.

So who is excited for the MTG Netflix Series? Think it will be related to the next story arc, since we are kind of done with Mr. Nicol Bolas, at least for now. But I feel like if they were going to have the series be based on this next arc we are facing, then it would be way further into production, being set to release somewhere around this next set, but as far as I know it isnt anywhere near ready to be finished.

My guess is posterboy Jace will be the main character of it.

Personally I don't want a single main character like that. i want to see the backstories of each of our lovely gatewatchers unfold. I want to see the epic spectacle of an unrelenting Chandra's spark ignite as she lash's out at Baral. I want a good story of honor and kinship from Gideon. I want to understand the pain and trauma Liliana has been through. Oh and Jace. Why is he powerful? What is his story, again? Oh he is just a blatantly powerful person for no reason who doesn't deserve it. *Cough cough* Rey

That was me throwing maximum shade at this sequel trilogy. I am not against it, except episode 8. That was trash. So I guess I hate half of what's been released, but I just don't like Rey's character. Perhaps when she has some more character development and a story arc.

Wwolfe, you made me digress. This is 100% your fault.

But I don't think I'll get what I want, or at least not to the extent I want, for both this TV show and star wars. Although that new mandalorian show looks great. And a new season of the clone wars is coming out. Man I still have to watch star wars rebels. I can't find seasons 1-3 anywhere for free. I think the show (mtg again) will be focused on the gatewatch saving the day as they do. And Jace will of course be the main character. But hopefully it is good.

I personally wouldn't mind if they has a variety of shows set in different eras and Planes... Starting with Urza and Mishra's War.  Maybe with Serra as a separate (though obviously overlapping) focal character.

People are saying it is Kaldheim. I haven't been keeping up, but from secondary sources, I hear  it is all but confirmed.
