For Commander protection I also like Magebane armor or mask of avacyn

Nice deck! I've got a K'rrik deck too. I run Soul Channeling as one of my protection options. It's a nice option because it can come out pretty early/cheaply - plus anything that costs life feels like a flavour win to me.

I love Soul Channeling. I run it in my Vilis deck for obvious reasons. In K'rrik I'd be more willing to add Mask of Avacyn as a meta call tho. Im the last two games, indestructible didn't saved him against being tapped, bounced and imprisoned.

Why Snow-Covered Swamp instead of Swamp ?

Two main reasons:
- Extraplanar Lens: Exiling a Snow-Covered Swamp won't duplicate the mana of your opponent's Swamps unless they're running Snow-Covered too.
- Dead of Winter: A second Mutilate but even better, for 2B not 2BB.
