The newly revealed commander, Volo looks like such a fun card with a  very interesting deck building challenge.

To that end here is my first stab at making a fun EDH deck with the titular cryptobiologist.

Please, let me know what you think and what suggestions you might make.

Legendary Creature - Human Wizard
Whenever you cast a creature spell that doesn't share a creature type with a creature you control or a creature card in your graveyard, copy that spell. (A copy of a creature spell becomes a token.)
