Avengul lich and geth lord of the vault

Hi i have a question about havengul lich ability.
If I pay 1 mana, I activate her ability, and cast geth lord of the vault from the graveyard paying its cost. The question is, if the havengul lich gains all of that creature's activated abilities until the end of the turn, will I have to pay for Geth Lord of the Vault's ability?

Yes.

Havengul Lich will gain the activated ability of Geth, so now you have two creatures with the same ability. You can activate either of them, but you still need to pay any cost.
