So what are your thoughts on the new bobbleheads?
« on: February 24, 2024, 08:13:15 pm »
Honestly I like having another dice mana rock for Mr. House but I not including 4 of the others.

Only having 3 out of the 7. (Just S.,A.,L.)

But looking on other opinions on the new Bobblehead mana rocks.

Strength Bobblehead

Perception Bobblehead

Endurance Bobblehead

Charisma Bobblehead

Intelligence Bobblehead

Agility Bobblehead

Luck Bobblehead

I like Charisma, Perception and Intelligence as mana rocks that have utility in the late game if you flood.
But 3cmc is a high bar for mana rocks these days.  :-\

Depends on the commander and what your playing yeah.

Running like 7 other mana rocks too (5 are cheaper)

Two of which are already Component Pouch and Vexing Puzzlebox

Similar to Luck but feels like need to be included in any Mr. House Deck.

Plus my deck has alot of need for haste effects and 1+/1+ counters.

And for finally for Luck win condition.... you can just use an infinity combo to copy the bobblehead right?

Lithoform Engine or The Mycosynth Gardens

The more dice your roll, the robots you will have anyway in my deck. (with counters and haste with additional effects.)

Yeah, I was talking about them in general, not in a specific deck.

Don't copy Luck Bobblehed too many times, bcs you need to roll exactly seven 6s to win  ;D

I don't know......even if I copy it 45 times because of an easy combo.....

That's still alot of treasures and 3/3 robots....

And How Did New Vegas End with Mr. House Again?

(Also technically this also how Mr. House began....)

You would want 42 bobbleheads to win with Luck Bobblehead. That gives the best expected value for rolling seven sixes.

I find Charisma, Perception, and Intelligence to be mana rocks with useful late-game utility, especially if you're dealing with plnkgame mana flooding. However, these days, a converted mana cost (CMC) of 3 is considered quite high for mana rocks.
