Mana is definetly my biggest concern regarding this deck, especially with Niv having a high mana cost. This build is based around a deck I found on budget commander, so there's lots to tweak and upgrade. I'm thinking of switching some non basic lands/ colorless mana rocks for lands or land tutors. But I also haven't played this deck yet, so I'm waiting until It has some mileage and then making changing things up.

I love the deathtouch idea, makes niv even more dangerous and I definitely wouldn't say no to the lifelink of basilisk collar.

thanks for the advice! elixir of immortality does allow me to shuffle my graveyard into my library, but it definitely couldn't hurt to have a backup! Clear the mind looks like a good option, plus I'll get to ping for one if my commander is out
