Deckstats Feedback / Commander 99, mana SYMBOLS are all that should be considered for identity.
« il: Settembre 05, 2021, 03:54:10 am »
I have a commander that is red green. I include Garruk the relentless/veil cursed (https://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?utf8=1&lng=en&card=Garruk%20Relentless%20%2F%2F%20Garruk%2C%20the%20Veil-Cursed&set=V17&collector_number=9)
It has the rules word "black" in its text but that doesn't matter in Commander, only the presence or absence of mana symbols. Currently the deckbuilder is flagging this card as invalid.

Not sure how many cards need to be updated because this rule is currentlty being misapplied.

It is worth noting, that only mana symbols define color identity. Cards like Mad Ratter, which only use a color as wording, do not inherit that color in their color identity. Therefore, Mad Ratter could be included in a mono-red commander deck.
