Could you explain what you mean by mana average a little more in depth? Do you mean that the lands won't provide the right amount of colours?
With the wizards I'm assuming you mean Voidmage Prodigy and Sage of Fables? The commander is a wizard and even though that probably doesn't justify it enough, Voidmage could sac himself and Sage works with the general strategy of getting counters on creatures.
I haven't put any infinite combo's in the deck because I don't like winning that way.
