Update. Needed a way to protect against Choke, while also providing a black man source for the sideboard. Added Temple of Deceit.

If you're not going to interact, you're going to lose.

I ultimately decided on Vendilion Clique.

Most combo decks in Legacy win because they're consistent and can protect themselves. TES plays cards like Duress and Cabal Therapy. Show and Tell plays Force of Will. Etc.

The deck is cute, but it's not going to compete in the environment. A simple litmus test for Legacy is to play against Burn. If you cannot defeat it consistently, the deck needs to be retooled. Burn comprises a plurality of the field, simple because of its relatively inexpensive price. Once you can win consistently against them, start testing against the other decks. What does this deck do against a Turn 2 Emrakul, the Aeons Torn or Omniscience? What does it do against TES? Combo Elves? Miracles?

I don't want to sound negative, but the Legacy environment is going to look at this deck like it's a bye. I would recommend building it in Modern, where you have a little more time to allow the plan to come to fruition.

Trickbind would only stop Pili-Pala from becoming a blue creature for one turn. If the opponent misses the window, then Trickbind is useless. It's the least of my worries. Yes, in some cases one turn is enough disruption, but often times I'll just combo on my next turn - or if I have a blue mana available, on their upkeep.

My concern with Kira, is it does nothing against Abrupt Decay. Jund is already a bad matchup because of Liliana of the Veil.

I run 4 Gitaxian Probe. I also run 4 Pact of Negation. I don't have an answer for Sudden Shock - other than an on-field Kira. So perhaps she IS the best choice for the last slot? Part of me feels like a one-of Snapcaster Mage is the correct choice though. The other card I was looking into was Thassa, God of the Sea - if only for the Scry ability.

Turn 1: Land.
Turn 2: Land. Cast Pili-Pala.
Turn 3: Land. Cast Grand Architect. Attack with Pili-Pala. Tap Grand Architect to add 2 - which is used to untap Pili-Pala. Pili-Pala adds U. Spend the U to make Pili-Pala a blue creature, via Grand Architect. Pili-Pala can now generate infinite mana. With either Blue Sun's Zenith or Whispers of the Muse (draw until you find Blue Sun's Zenith), you can deck the opponent before blockers are declared.

Get. Raked.

An infinite-mana combo. You can win on Turn 3. Kira, Great Glass-Spinner is the only card for which I'm on the fence. Any recommendations?

Pili-Pala and Grand Architect combo.

You should play 1 Hostility. If you cheat it into play with the Incandescent Soulstoke, you can turn a Lightning Bolt into three 4/2 haste  creatures.

I'm not a fan of Sea's Claim. You already have Spreading Seas, and they only need 1 Island. I'd run Vapor Snag instead.

I piloted a similar deck up until recently. My version ran 3x Platinum Angel, because she's positioned so we'll against a lot of the meta. The only suggestion I'd make for this list, is to find room for a Surgical Extraction in the sideboard. When coupled with Ghost Quarter, it can really put you ahead of R/G Tron - which in my experience is the worst matchup for Mono U Tron.
