Just going to say, if I put myself to an odd number of life (fetchlands, painlands, pay life to a spell, bolt myself, etc.) I would live with only one damage doubler out. Proof: Life total: 19 Hidetsgu activation: 19/2=9.5, Rounded down=9 double the damage: 9*2=18 Ending life total: 1
Its even funnier if i am at 1 life, Hidetsgu does a total of 0 damage... sooooo.... yeah...
Can I suggest instead of Imperious Perfect, go with at least one Immaculate Magistrate. The combo with Joraga Warcaller is crazy, and the number of elves is sufficient that at least one can make any elf a major threat
maybe add some bolster spells for fate reforged? Cached Defenses can get courser to 5 power, or Honor's Reward fits in the life gain theme... also Asceticism might mot be a bad idea to have
hate to rain on the otherwise awesome idea, but you cannot get any +1/+1 counters to start the cycle. You place a +1/+1 on each creature IF you control a creature with power 5 or greater... If you had some way to get the ball rolling this deck would be fun to play with
