If Command Zones video on the decklist is a fair representation, the reprints in the Morph deck are equal to almost $100 USD. That's just the reprints only - not factoring in brand new cards. It's making me a little less jittery after pre-ordering all 4. I know that last year the general consensus was that reprint quality was poor (I only bought the enchantment one and did have fun with it).

A friend that is very active in reddit told me that they have recalculated this, and most of them end up with like 40$.

Still, if that pattern holds true for each deck the $40-$50 before prices potentially re-adjust is nice. Especially considering $40USD is $50-$55CAN on a good day - I'll take it.

Voted Ayula, but more so because it seems like an interesting candidate for a tribal or voltron build. That built in counter and fight mechanic is pretty cool to me and might try that myself down the road.

Thought process here is that mono-green doesn't have access to "choose creature type" effects like other colours do in the sense we can't change other creature types into bears. There are a lot of options that are repeatable to create more bears, however, and arming Ayuli with a bunch of equipment could be unbearable for opponents if you buff her up with the counter ability in addition.

Garruk seems like he would fit into a Viking theme pretty well, so fingers crossed.

He would probably be worshiped as a god by the people and he looks the part somewhat. Just don't cast thoughtseize on him.

With Ixidron it is simply flipping the creatures face down. They are, unfortunately for the scenario you outlined, not re-entering the battlefield for Ajani's Welcome to care about them.

Which I can understand the confusion, as someone making you manifest a card would trigger Ajani's Welcome.

It's actually kind of scary how well Horse's perform in a casual setting. A friend made a White/Black Horse deck as a joke..... and things got pretty gross once they all started to have flying and indestructible and whatnot. I would love to see an EDH list - and there are horses in every colour plus changelings.

No need to worry about going below 10 permanents. It's basically treated in the same sense as an emblem - it cannot be interacted with or removed.

To be more direct, yes you would create a 3/3 on your turn after your critters got toasted.

The Locust God. That's where I am throwing it.

Basically. The flashback makes it a better option than some of the other similar cards.
