That was also something I was worried about when I first built the deck, gemstone array is probably the worse one and I was considering removing it because it's not really mana efficient.

But the other two doesn't end up being dead cards. Being able to tap vhal and filter that mana to have even one additional mana of any color to cast spells from the hand basically turn vhal into a mana dork like birds of paradise.

Vhal, Candlekeep Researcher Cedh Combo

When I saw Vhal, Candlekeep Researcher I thought she was odd but had potential. So I brewed a CEDH deck using her ability with Cultist of the Absolute and Staff of Domination to draw the deck and win with Thassa's oracle.

Here's the deck, if you guys have any thoughts, suggestions, input, I'd love to hear it ;D

I 100% agree on that. It doesn't work as well as I initially thought but I still managed to win once with it. It would be my last resort because of how fragile it is.
But both piece on their own does a lot of work. Necropotence is great on letting me draw a lot of card fast to get either a tutor or a combo piece.

Fair enough. When I built Lord of Tresserhorn I was using him as my main wincon. Using cards like artful dodge, rogue's passage or aquaous form to make him unblockable and things like tainted strike or uncaged fury to basically make him a 1HKO as an instant.
The deck had way more success than I had imagined at first. Even the people at my local game store were surprised. Let me know when you deck is built i'd love to see it built with a zombie theme. :D

I get the appeal of adding the red color. It is true that it would give you access to more combo pieces and better artefact removal. I'd personally probably choose Thraximundar or Marchesa, The Black rose over Lord of tresserhorn because even though he's a strong hitter his effect gives a certain advantage to the opponent which bothers me a bit, but I totally get the appeal and it is by no means a bad choice.

I used to have a Lord of Tresserhorn. The combos could work really well in the deck, I just don't exactly know how he would fit. You would basically need things like Torpor Orb, Sundial of the Infinite or any Trickbind effect to be able to olay your commander, all of which doesn't interact to well with The gravecrawler combos.

Wilhelt Combos

Hey guys! I've been experimenting a lot with Wilhelt, The Rotcleaver and I'm absolutely loving it. I am still trying to figure out how I can improve the deck and I would absolutely love to have your opinion on it  ;D ;D
