Because none of your creatures use the gate mechanic, there is no point using Guild Gates, especially because they're more expensive than the KTK life gain lands. I'd drop the gates, go for other lands.

You'll want to replace some forests with swamps. Only running four sources of black mana and ten cards that use black mana is a no-go. You could also run some of the many forms of dual lands. Also, as you're running a black deck, Bile Blight is a great card to sideboard. Tons of token decks in modern, and bile blight is the best way to rid yourself of the problem. Other than that, this deck looks great! Btw, bile blight is a 75 cent card, so it shouldn't be to difficult to include on a budget.

I don't understand the purpose of Call to the Netherworld, as you run no black creatures. Dump all four and you'll have a 60 card deck.

If you're playing vintage, get a Channel and a Fireball. Use a black lotus for 3 Green mana, and place a mountain. Use two green to cast channel, then pay 19 life for 19 colorless mana. Use the mountain, the floating green, and the newly acquired 19 mana to cast a twenty damage fireball.
