If you're not completely attached to the idea of being in Abzan, I would recommend playing Aetherflux Reservoir and going Azorius or Esper.

I'd say at least 3 Walking Ballista are must-adds. He becomes big really fast and you can crack him at instant speed when your opponent hits him with removal.
