Come funziona? Non capisco il ruolo di Emrakul, the Aeons Torn, Ugin, the Spirit Dragon.
Poi vedo che hai splashato il blu solo per Thopter Foundry ma non mi è chiaro che artefatti vuoi sacrificare.

Deck Reviews / Re: Modern (+KHM) Vehicle Beatdown - Suggestions?
« on: January 18, 2021, 06:59:25 pm »
Looks like you collected some beaters! I love vehicles and your deck looks awesome!
Ok, let's think about them. The main benefit of vehicles is that they aren't creatures, so their power/toughness to cmc ratio is quite high compared to regular creatures and they have a clear advantage in combat in the early stages of the game. The disadvantage of them is that you need to tap additional creatures to let them attack/block. And this is a problem.
Siege Modification and Armed and Armored can be a very powerful tool, but rely on them to attack basically increase massively the effective casting cost of your vehicles.
I really like the choice of cards you came up with. The Ox is amazing. Path to Exile and Lightning Bolt look out of place here, but hey, they're good removals!

Here's my current cheap build with vehicles and dwarfs:

Depala, Pilot Exemplar and Heart of Kiran are an absolute blast in this deck. Built to Last add some protection to my vehicles and To Arms! increase the defense side of the deck.
I hope I gave my help. Have fun!

Bellissimo. Un paio d'anni fa ne avevo fatto uno simile, ma solo a 2 colori (WG).
Se non la conosci dai un'occhiata a Fell the Mighty, in questo mazzo è devastante.

Deck Reviews / Shapeshifters [Casual]
« on: August 20, 2020, 05:30:16 pm »
I'm building this Shapeshifters deck, with the help of the awesome Amoeboid Changeling.

Spirit Mirror + {T}Amoeboid Changeling = destroy target creature.
Spirit Mirror + Shields of Velis Vel = destroy all creatures target player controls.
Peer Pressure + {T}Amoeboid Changeling = gain control of target creature.

Shapesharer is super useful for both defense and offense (transforming my 1/1 into a copy of an attacking/blocking big boy).
Other cards are for support and general situation play.
Any help on this? The only suggestion: it has to be budget.

Deck Reviews / Re: A deck with Tainted Remedy [Casual]
« on: May 08, 2020, 05:00:47 pm »
At this point I think I need to make this deck more consistent, rather than more powerful.
The Wall and the green "0 mana" cards does the job pretty well, but mana fixing and laying down the Remedy as soon as possible still remains a problem.
I feel like this deck wins easly on some games and very badly on others depending on luck.

Dimir Machinations is here just to play Tainted Remedy easier, but I'm looking for some better turn-1 or 2 creatures.
I've found the Grollub, but it's plain bad at everything.

Any help on this one? I've searched almost every other deck with Tainted Remedy and I can't find any better way to use it.
Also I'm not sure how Roar of Jukai works.

Kavu Predator doesn't trigger when Tainted Remedy is on the battlefield.

Deck Reviews / Any help on this crazy Manaless Dredge [Casual]?
« on: April 13, 2020, 06:26:00 pm »
I'm working on this one. Any help is appreciated, as I'm not sure if it can actually work. No interested in tournaments play, I just build deck to play against friends.
Here's the main strategy:
Turn 1: Draw 8th card. Pass. Discard a card with Dredge or the Phantasmagorian + 3 other cards (with Dredge possibly).
Turn 2: Don't draw, Dredge instead. Narcomoeba, Nether Shadow and Prized Amalgam can go onto the battlefield already.
Turn 3: It's time for everything basically. Ichorid and using Dread Return you can put into the battlefield Sidisi, Brood Tyrant and/or Lotleth Giant.

I've lost my first match with it. It needs more mana fix.

I own an Heroic deck, but I built it around counters, because unlike Prowess or Bushido that require you to constantly cast spells to target your creatures, +1/+1 counters leaves a permanent effect on the board so the strategy is an exponential ramp of improvement turn after turn.
