General Magic / Rackless MBC?

I was doing a bit of research into mono-black decks in modern and really only came across 8Rack, which I knew of.

I wanted to find other mono-black decks that have gotten results in the Modern format. I came across Mono-black aggro running creatures Bloodghast and Phryxian Obliterator, which I see played a bit online. I found mono-black versions of Eldrazi Tron but didn't find any mono-black versions of any other common archetypes. Zombies, Vampires & Rogues are plausible tribes but if they were seeing results before I haven't seen them come up in any modern tournaments.

Finally, this brings us to to the classic, rackless mono-black control deck, also known as mono-black infect.

Why does this deck not work in the current meta, what do you think is holding it back from seeing results in tournaments and how would you improve the deck for the modern format?

Also why do you have 4 Vampric Tutor in your sideboard and your mainboard o_O

Despite being a staple Vampire Hexmage + Dark Depths. Most of your other cards are decent Black Cards but there are some that would be better used instead.

I see you got rid of Sanguine Blood and Exquisite Blood which is good. They were uneeded as your win condition is getting out your Dark Depths and wouldn't have been dealing much damage to benefit off of it before hand. Your only problem is, surviving until you get your land. You need to stall or make it more likely for you to have Dark Depths in your hand in the first few turns.

This deck is illegal, you can only have 4 or more of basic lands or cards that say they can have more than 4 is a deck (Relentless Rat).

You need to remove 7 Khalni Garden and 6 Spawning Bed. Howl of the Night Pack doesn't work unless you have Forest.

My Deck (Feedback)

I am relatively new to Magic and I was wondering if I could have feedback on my mono-white deck. It's really good at dealing with mono-black decks and red-black decks. Otherwise, it struggles against other decks.
